Pakistan wins qualifying match for Football World Cup 2026
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan won a match against Cambodia by one to zero goal in the first round of qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 at Jinnah Stadium here on Tuesday.
Now, Pakistan will play in the second stage of world cup qualifiers. The ambassador of Argentine to Pakistan witnessed the match.
Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi congratulated both the participating teams. He said football was a common man’s game and needs to be given due priority in Pakistan. The minister applauded young player Harun Hamid for scoring the decisive goal for Pakistan.
