NEW YORK: Pakistan and the European Union have agreed to enhance cooperation in different sectors. They said there would be more cooperation in the field of migration and mobility, climate change, trade and investment in Pakistan.
At a meeting between caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Josep Borrell on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the two sides expressed satisfaction over their bilateral relationship and resolved to maintain its positive trajectory.
Meanwhile, the caretaker foreign minister also held a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov and two discussed bilateral cooperation and reviewed progress made during fifth round of bilateral political consultations held in Islamabad in June this year.
