Pakistan Extends Airspace Ban on Indian Flights Until Nov 27

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has extended the closure of Pakistani airspace to Indian flights until November 27, 2026, through a new Notice to Airmen (NOTAM).

According to a PAA spokesperson, the latest NOTAM will remain in effect until 5am on November 27, 2026.

Under the restriction, Indian airlines and aircraft registered, leased, or commercially or militarily operated in India will not be permitted to enter Pakistani airspace.

Pakistan closed its airspace to Indian aircraft on April 23, 2025.

The report stated that the restriction has caused losses worth billions of rupees to Indian airlines.
