Pakistan faces defeat against Afghanistan

Afghan team chases target of 283 runs for the loss of just two wickets.

Pakistan faced humiliation at the hands of the Afghan team when the green shirts were defeated by eight wickets in a World Cricket Cup match at Chennai on Monday.

Opting to bat first, Pakistan scored 282 runs for six  wickets in the allocated 50 overs.

In reply, the Afghan team chased the score in 49th over for the loss of just two wickets.
