Pakistan gains upper hand in response to Indian aggression: minister

ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has stated that after cowardly attacks by India, the Pakistan Air Force shot down five Indian fighter jets.

Speaking to the American magazine Bloomberg, Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan has gained the upper hand in its response to Indian aggression.

He stated that the Pakistan Air Force gave a strong reply to Indian aggression by downing five Indian fighter aircraft.

Earlier, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, shared details of the cowardly Indian attacks, stating that eight Pakistanis were martyred and 35 injured.

During a press conference, DG ISPR said that cowardly India launched unprovoked aggression against Pakistan last night, carrying out 24 strikes at six locations inside Pakistan, resulting in the martyrdom of eight Pakistanis.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry added that five innocent Pakistanis were martyred in Ahmadpur East, including a young girl.
