Pakistan, Japan Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthening Ties

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Japan reviewed the full spectrum of their bilateral relations at a meeting, reaffirming a shared commitment to deepen cooperation in trade, investment, development, education, and people-to-people exchanges.

The 14th Round of Bilateral Political Consultations held in Islamabad also provided a platform for an exchange of views on regional peace and security, including the evolving situation in South Asia, the Middle East, the Asia-Pacific, and Afghanistan.

Officials described the discussions as cordial and constructive, noting that the meeting offered an opportunity to assess ongoing initiatives and set priorities for the future.

Both sides agreed to sustain the momentum of high-level exchanges and to further consolidate their enduring partnership.

It was also agreed that the next round of Bilateral Political Consultations will take place in Tokyo on mutually convenient dates.
