Pakistan, Jordan Broaden Partnership Through New Agreements 

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Jordan have taken an important step toward expanding their bilateral partnership by formalizing four new Memoranda of Understanding that focus on cooperation in culture, media, and education.

The MoUs were exchanged during a ceremony held on Saturday at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad, attended by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Jordan’s King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein.

The agreements include a comprehensive Program for Cultural Cooperation between the two nations, as well as the establishment of Urdu and Pakistan Studies chairs at the University of Jordan.

Additional MoUs outline collaboration between Pakistan Television and the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation, along with a separate cooperation framework between the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation and the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation.
