RIYADH: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif here said Pakistan is keen to benefit from the reform policies adopted by the government of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
He said these reform policies would strengthen Pakistan’s governance structure on modern lines.He expressed the desire at a meeting with a Saudi delegation led by Adviser at the Royal Court and General Secretary of Saudi-Pak Supreme Coordination Council Mohammed bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri.
The participants of the meeting discussed ways to facilitate Saudi investment in Pakistan.
Mr Sharif informed the delegation about the progress made on investment in various sectors in Pakistan during the visit of the Saudi Foreign Minister’s delegation to Pakistan.
Mohammed bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri and his delegation expressed deep interest on behalf of the Saudi government and companies in enhancing investment in Pakistan.
He said following the visit of the Saudi Foreign Minister’s delegation to Pakistan, work has begun on priority basis on Saudi investment in Pakistan.
The prime minister Prime is on a visit to Saudi Arabia to attend a special meeting of World Economic Forum on Global Cooperation, Growth and Energy on Sunday.
At the Riyadh’s Royal Airport, he was received by Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, along with Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia and other diplomatic officials.
