ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is closely monitoring recent developments in Yemen and fully supports the diplomatic efforts led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure peace and stability in the war-torn country.
The efforts of the United Arab Emirates in this regard were also appreciated.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed Pakistan’s commitment to Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity, urging all Yemeni parties to avoid unilateral actions that could escalate tensions.
The spokesperson called on all Yemeni factions to work constructively and sincerely toward a comprehensive political solution based on mutually agreed points.
Pakistan expressed hope that these diplomatic efforts would help alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people and pave the way for lasting peace.
