Foreign ministers from Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates issued a joint statement rejecting remarks by Israel’s national security minister and defence minister regarding the expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza.

The ministers described such provocative statements as a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

They rejected any plan to forcibly remove Palestinians from their homeland and warned that turning such threats into practical measures would have serious consequences.

The statement said such actions would undermine international efforts to achieve peace, contradict US President Donald Trump’s comprehensive plan to end the Gaza conflict and further damage prospects for regional stability.

The eight countries stressed that Gaza is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territory and said the territorial unity of Palestinian lands, including the West Bank and East Jerusalem, must be preserved.

They reiterated that implementing the two-state solution remains the only path to lasting peace and called on the international community and the United Nations to fulfil their responsibilities in addressing the suffering of the Palestinian people.
