KARACHI: The stock market witnessed significant gains today, as trading activity reflected renewed investor confidence.
The KSE-100 Index recovered to the 174,000 level, reaching 174,085 points, marking an impressive increase of 1,915 points. Yesterday, the index had closed at 172,170 points, highlighting a strong rebound in market sentiment.
Meanwhile, in the interbank currency market, the US dollar recorded a marginal decline of 2 paisa, moving from PKR 279.57 to PKR 279.55, signaling a slight easing in foreign exchange pressure.
