ISLAMABAD: In a sharp escalation of regional tensions, Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has issued a dire warning. He revealed that Pakistan has credible intelligence suggesting India plans a military strike within the next 24 to 36 hours, using the Pahalgam incident as a false pretext.
“India is preparing for military action against Pakistan based on baseless and fabricated allegations,” Tarar stated during a press briefing. He condemned the move as reckless and highly provocative.

India Acting as Judge, Jury, and Executioner, Says Tarar
Attaullah Tarar strongly criticized India’s stance, calling it a unilateral and dangerous approach. He accused India of assuming the role of judge, jury, and executioner in the region.
“Such actions threaten regional peace and show blatant disregard for diplomatic norms,” he emphasized.
Moreover, the minister reminded that Pakistan has been a repeated victim of terrorism and deeply understands its impact. “We have consistently condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, anywhere in the world,” he added.
Pakistan Calls for Neutral Investigation and Warns of Strong Response
Despite the gravity of the situation, Pakistan extended an olive branch. Tarar confirmed that Pakistan offered a credible, transparent, and independent investigation into the Pahalgam incident. He proposed the formation of a neutral international commission to uncover the facts.
However, he noted India’s silence in response. “India’s refusal to accept an independent probe exposes its real motives,” he said. He warned that any military misadventure would provoke a decisive response from Pakistan.
“Let there be no doubt—Pakistan will respond with full resolve,” Tarar declared.
Minister Tarar Urges Global Community to Intervene
In a direct appeal, Tarar urged the international community to remain alert to India’s alleged intentions. He stressed that ignoring these developments could lead to dangerous and far-reaching consequences.
“Making strategic decisions based on manipulated public sentiment for political gain is not only unfortunate—it is dangerous,” Tarar cautioned.
Pakistan Reaffirms Its Commitment to National Defense
Minister Tarar concluded with a firm message of national unity and strength. He emphasized that Pakistan stands ready to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity—at any cost.
“The nation remains united and resolute. We will not allow any aggression to go unanswered,” he said.
