PERTH (AUSTRALIA): Pakistan here today won the decisive One Day International match winning the three-day series by two against one of Australia.
Pakistan has defeated Australia on its home ground in One Day Internationals series after 22 years.
Pakistan today won the toss and put the host team to bat. Bowling first, the visiting side sent nine of the 10 batsmen of Australia to the pavilion in 31.5 overs for just 140 runs. The remaining one batsman couldn’t come back to bat after retiring due to an injury.
Naseen Shah and Shaheen Afridi took three wickets each while Haris Rauf took two wickets and Muhammad Hasnain took one wicket.
Pakistan chased the target and won the match for the loss of two wickets in the 26th overs.
In the earlier, two match, Pakistan had won the second and Australia the first march.
