BANGKOK: Pakistan Women secured a convincing 35-run victory over Thailand in an important Women’s T20 Asia Cup match, producing a disciplined all-round performance to claim a valuable win.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Pakistan posted 119 for nine in their allotted 20 overs. Muneeba Ali led the batting effort with a crucial 54-run innings, earning her the Player of the Match award.

Chasing 120 for victory, Thailand struggled against Pakistan’s bowling attack and managed only 84 for eight in 20 overs.

Chaneeda top-scored for Thailand with 25 runs but failed to guide her side close to the target.

Sadia Yousuf was the standout bowler for Pakistan, taking three wickets, while Tuba Hassan claimed two wickets.
