RAWALPINDI: The Pakistani community in Washington, DC, expressed deep appreciation for the professionalism and bravery of the Pakistan Armed Forces during Operation Bunyanum Marsoos at an interaction with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, who is on an official visit to the United States.
According to a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations in Rawalpindi, the COAS was warmly received by a large number of overseas Pakistanis who gathered to meet him.
He acknowledged their vital role as ambassadors of Pakistan and appreciated their contributions to the national economy through remittances, investments, and achievements in various fields abroad.
Community members also shared their experiences and suggestions with the army chief. In response, he emphasized the importance of continued engagement and collaboration with the diaspora to address shared challenges and strengthen Pakistan’s global image.
