Pakistan’s Covid-19 positivity rate falls to 1.9pc, lowest so far this year
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported the lowest Covid-19 positivity rate so far this year. During the last 24 hours, the positivity rate rate was recorded as 1.9 per cent.
For the last two weeks, the positivity rate has hovered at around 3pc. According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 54,647 tests were conducted during this period of which 1,043 samples came back positive.
According to NCOC spokesperson, Sindh reported the highest number of cases during the last 24 hours, followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Pakistan has reported 1,410 Covid-19 recoveries over the past 24 hours, according to the government’s portal for tracking the spread of the disease.
So far, the country has reported total 888,505 recoveries, constituting a recovery rate of 93.9 per cent.
