Crypto Diplomacy Positions Nation as Global Innovator: Minister

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Crypto and Blockchain, Bilal Bin Saqib, has declared that Pakistan’s crypto diplomacy has elevated the country from being merely a consumer to becoming a key builder and innovator in the global digital economy.

Describing Pakistan as a “hidden treasure,” the minister expressed confidence that the country’s vast potential in the cryptocurrency sector will soon be fully recognized worldwide. He highlighted the establishment of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA) as a landmark achievement that sets the foundation for a regulated, transparent, and robust crypto ecosystem.

Bilal Bin Saqib also announced Pakistan’s creation of a Bitcoin Strategic Reserve, a bold step aligning the nation with leading countries that are integrating cryptocurrency into their broader economic strategies.

“This strategic move not only enhances Pakistan’s standing in global crypto markets but also paves the way for sustainable international economic development,” he said, emphasizing that Pakistan’s crypto diplomacy is reshaping its global economic engagement.
