ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s ambassadors and high commissioners posted to different countries deliberated on current challenges and ways ahead to play its role in steering out from them.
The diplomats attended an envoys conference in Islamabad and discussed Pakistan’s role in the world facing a number of issues and challenges, especially in the context of the Israeli mass killings of Palestinian people and Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar and Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani shared their vision about Pakistan’s foreign policy.
During the conference, the envoys discussed key aspects of Pakistan’s foreign policy, emphasizing economic diplomacy and Pakistan’s continued commitment to purposes and principles of the UN Charter, multilateralism and international law.
It may be mentioned here that the envoys conference has been an annual feature in which ambassadors and high commissioners of Pakistan set a goal for the year to come on the basis of the evolving challenges in the world.
