NEW YORK: The political and military leadership of Pakistan was widely praised for its strategic restraint, unity, and mature handling of recent Indian aggression at a Yaum-e-Tashakur event organized by the Pakistan Peoples Party, United States of America (PPP).
Held in New York, the event brought together a diverse group of Pakistani-American community members, including PPP leaders, professionals, academics, journalists, and representatives of various organizations.
The occasion served to express solidarity with Pakistan and to reaffirm support for its sovereignty, democratic values, and commitment to regional peace.
Speakers at the event commended Pakistan’s leadership for sending a clear message of strength and resolve in the face of external provocation, without compromising its principles of peaceful coexistence and dignity.
Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai, quoted Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, saying, “No power on earth can undo Pakistan.” He reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to peace and regional stability, while firmly asserting that the country would not tolerate any threats to its sovereignty or territorial integrity.
The Consul General strongly rejected India’s unfounded accusations and attempts to mislead the international community. He praised the professionalism of Pakistan’s Armed Forces, emphasizing their role in maintaining national security and upholding the country’s interests.
The event concluded with a collective message of national unity, resilience, and pride in Pakistan’s strength and democratic foundations. Attendees reiterated their unwavering support for the homeland and pledged continued advocacy for Pakistan on the global stage.
