PARIS: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-734 from Paris to Lahore has still not taken off even after two days, leaving passengers extremely distressed.
Passengers say the flight was scheduled to depart Paris for Lahore on August 8 at 5:30 PM. Women, children, and sick passengers are stranded at Paris Airport with no clear information about when the flight will resume.
A spokesperson for the national airline said that upon arriving in Paris, a technical fault was detected in the engine of the Boeing 777 aircraft, causing disruption to the schedule.
The same aircraft was supposed to fly from Paris to Islamabad and then operate the return flight, but the technical problem has affected the entire schedule.
PIA officials stated that efforts are underway to fix the technical issue as soon as possible. The engineering team is actively working on resolving the fault. Meanwhile, all passengers have been accommodated in hotels in Paris.
