GUJRANWALA: For the second consecutive day, the Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) on Saturday once again arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Parvez Elahi shortly after a Gujranwala court discharged him in two graft cases.
According to the ACE officials, the former Punjab chief minister has been detained for alleged illegal recruitment he did in the Punjab Assembly when he was the speaker.
According to Spokesperson of Anti-Corruption Establishment, investigation is in progress in corruption case against Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
