PIA passenger arrested in Paris for assaulting air hostess

ISLAMABAD: An air hostess was assaulted by a passenger on a PIA flight from Islamabad to Paris.
According to airline sources, a air hostess asked a passenger not to smoke after which he got enraged and assaulted her.
Meanwhile, when a flight stewardess tried to save the air hostess, the passenger named Safeer also scuffled with him.
Before landing at Paris airport, the captain of the plane contacted the air traffic controller and called security officials. When the PIA flight arrived at Paris, security officials arrested the passenger.
A PIA spokesperson confirmed the incident and said that the security personnel have recorded the statement of the air hostess.
