ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has called a meeting of the National Security Committee on Monday following the escalation in the Iran-Israel conflict and the US attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
According to sources, the meeting will be attended by the military leadership, key federal ministers, in which important issues, including the Iran, Israel and US conflict will be discussed. The meeting will discuss the current situation in the region, internal and external security issues.
The United States attacked Iranian nuclear facilities with bunker-busters and missiles. Three nuclear facilities in Fardou, Natanz and Isfahan were targeted. The U.S. joined Israel in the war against Iran.
