ASHGABAT: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday paid tribute to Turkmenistan’s enduring commitment to neutrality by visiting the Monument of Neutrality in Ashgabat and laying a wreath.
His visit comes amid a two-day official trip aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and regional cooperation.
The prime minister later took part in the International Forum celebrating the International Year of Peace and Trust 2025, the International Day of Neutrality, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
The forum brings together global leaders to discuss initiatives promoting peace, trust, and regional stability.
During the day, Sharif was s scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with international leaders attending the forum, focusing on enhancing Pakistan-Turkmenistan relations, connectivity, and collaboration on key regional issues.
