PM Imran inaugurated a new shelter home in Tarnol, Islamabad

Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated a 100-bed shelter in Tarnol in collaboration with the Treasury and the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Prime Minister Imran Khan spent the first evening of 2021 in the shelter with deserving people.

Breakfast and meals will be provided to the poor at Tarnol Shelter while 10 separate beds have also been provided exclusively for women.

A high level meeting on anti-smuggling measures was also held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The meeting was informed that the sale of smuggled oil was causing an annual loss of Rs 100-150 billion to the economy. The Prime Minister directed that stern action be taken against the elements involved in the smuggling. The money will be spent on the poor by increasing revenue from anti-trafficking.
