PM addresses nation, says India will pay the price

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a televised address to the nation, stated that India committed a serious act of aggression by violating Pakistan’s airspace last night, and it will have to face the consequences of its grave mistake.

He revealed that the Pakistan Air Force responded swiftly and effectively, shooting down five Indian fighter jets. He praised the Pakistani fighter pilots, saying, “The falcons stirred such a storm in the skies that the enemy cried out in fear.”

Mr Sharif stated that the brave soldiers of the Pakistan Army have proven their mettle on the battlefield and have inflicted wounds on the enemy that even time cannot heal. He emphasized that Pakistan stands firmly with the families of the martyrs and vowed, “We pledge to account for every single drop of the blood of our martyrs.”

He concluded by affirming that Pakistan knows how to give a befitting response and will defend every inch of its land at all costs.
