ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed displeasure at the delay in transferring of working process in different divisions and ministries to e-offices.
The prime minister on March 27 had directed all ministries and divisions including the Prime Minister Office to complete the digitisation process within three months. However, at a meeting today, the Prime Minister was informed that the process had not been completed in any of the ministries and divisions including the Prime Minister Office.
The Prime Minister gave an extension of two weeks and directed officials concerned to expedite the process and give him a report about the start of e-offices in all the divisions and ministries.
Officials told the meeting that all the ministries of divisions had transferred their working to e-offices and digitisation was partially completed and work continued to complete the process.
