PM Shehbaz To Visit Saudi Arabia From October 27–29

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will undertake an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from October 27 to 29, the Foreign Office said in a statement on Saturday.

According to the spokesperson, the visit is being made at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and senior members of the federal cabinet.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will participate in the 9th Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII), to be held in Riyadh. This year’s conference is themed “The New Frontiers of Growth: Unlocking the Key to Prosperity.”

The event will bring together global leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators to discuss emerging economic trends and investment opportunities.

The Foreign Office spokesperson said that the Prime Minister will attend thematic sessions focusing on innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion, and geopolitical transformations. Discussions with Saudi officials will cover trade, investment, energy cooperation, and human resource development, as well as regional and global issues of mutual interest.

During his stay, the Prime Minister will also hold meetings with leaders from other participating countries and heads of international organizations, where he will highlight Pakistan’s investment potential and its vision for sustainable development.
