TURBAT: A policemen lost his life in an attack on the regional office of the Election Commission of Pakistan in Turbat, Balochistan.
Police on Thursday said that armed persons opened fire outside the ECP office and then lobbed a bomb inside the premises.
According to the police, a policemen deployed on the security of the office died in the firing outside the office. However, there was no dead abd injuries in the bomb attack inside.
A large number of security personnel reached the area and cordoned it off. Efforts are underway to trace the attackers who escaped from the area.
