Positive Trend in Stock Market, Dollar Rate Declines

KARACHI: The value of the US dollar saw a slight decline in the interbank market today, dropping by one paisa to trade at Rs 280.50.

According to the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, currency trading began cautiously, with supply and demand remaining stable.

Meanwhile, trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange showed a positive trend, with the benchmark KSE-100 index gaining up to 400 points. The index reached 168,462 points, with investor sentiment remaining stable and a broad-based buying pattern observed.

Market analysts attributed the rise in investor confidence to government economic measures and improved financial indicators.
