PPP leader protests over Rs9.5 million given to inactive VCC in Chitral

Says MPA Fateh-ul-Mulk Ali Nasir of PTI established a VCC under name of “Bohtuli Noghor,” which does not actually exist.

CHITRAL: Former minister and PPP leader Salim Khan has accused PTI MPA Fateh-ul-Mulk Ali Nasir of misusing Rs9.5 million meant for wildlife conservation in Lower Chitral.

He alleged that the MPA created a fake Village Conservation Committee (VCC) called “Bohtuli Noghor” and gave it the money. He claimed this committee does not exist and the MPA cut the shares of real and active committees to do this.

Salim Khan said these committees have worked for years to protect wildlife and deserve the funds. He also pointed out that people in Bohtuli supported PTI in the last elections but still face unfair treatment.

The PPP leader demanded that the government return the money to the rightful committees. He also asked the KP Chief Secretary and the Anti-Corruption Department to investigate the issue. He warned that local communities will protest and take legal action if officials do not return the funds.
