ISLAMABAD: President Arif Ali has approved the appointment of Justice Sardar Tariq Masood as the acting chief justice of Pakistan.
The acting chief with be heading the apex court in the absence of Qazi Faez Isa who is proceeding abroad on summer vacations. The president approved the appointment under Article 180 of the constitution.
