New Envoys Present Credentials To President Zardari

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has underscored the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation with Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Austria, and Germany across a broad spectrum of fields, particularly focusing on trade, economic ties, and cultural exchange.

Speaking during a formal meeting with the High Commissioner-designate of Sri Lanka and the Ambassadors-designate of Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Austria, and Germany, the President expressed optimism that their tenures would further deepen the existing partnerships and expand cooperation in areas of mutual benefit.

The envoys – Rear-Admiral H.L.A Don Fred Senevirante (Sri Lanka), Chandra Warsenanto (Indonesia and Chairman of ASEAN Countries), Kylychbek Sultan (Kyrgyzstan), Wolfgang Oliver Kutschera (Austria), and Ina Ruth Luise Lepel (Germany) – presented their diplomatic credentials to President Zardari during the ceremony.

Upon their arrival, the distinguished envoys were accorded a guard of honor by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Armed Forces, highlighting the significance of these diplomatic engagements.

President Zardari congratulated the High Commissioner and Ambassadors on their new assignments and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties and fostering enhanced collaboration in trade, economic development, and cultural relations with their respective countries.
