ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has praised the valor, strength, and vigilance of Pakistan’s Armed Forces, emphasizing the country’s unwavering commitment to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Speaking during a meeting with Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, in Islamabad on Wednesday, the President commended the professionalism and preparedness of the military in responding to security challenges.
He lauded the Armed Forces’ swift and measured actions in repelling recent cross-border attacks along the Afghan border.
Field Marshal Munir briefed the President on the internal and external security environment, highlighting the provocative actions of the Afghan Taliban regime and Pakistan Army’s effective response to safeguard the nation.
The President’s remarks underscore the government’s strong backing of the military while reiterating Pakistan’s resolve to maintain national security.
