ISLAMABAD: In the wake of heightened tensions with India following the Pahalgam attack, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held an important meeting at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar were also present.

The meeting also condemned baseless allegations leveled by India without any investigation and expressed regret over such an irresponsible approach. The two leaders emphasized that Pakistan had itself been a victim of terrorism for over two decades, having suffered immense human and economic losses.
