President, PM Pay Tribute to Quaid On His 149th Birth Anniversary

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his 149th birth anniversary.

In his message to the nation, President Asif Ali Zardari said the day serves as an opportunity not only to honor Quaid-e-Azam but also to remember the unwavering resolve and tireless struggle that led to the creation of Pakistan.

He said that at a time when the nation is facing multiple challenges, Quaid-e-Azam’s leadership, vision, and principles continue to provide guidance.

The President described Quaid-e-Azam as a staunch advocate of democracy, justice, and equality, emphasizing that these values must remain central to Pakistan’s national journey.

He reiterated that the message of “Unity, Faith, and Discipline” is still essential for development, social harmony, and strengthening national confidence.

President Zardari noted that the nation is approaching the 150th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam next year, calling it a significant milestone.

He urged the nation to reflect deeply on Quaid-e-Azam’s life and struggle, renew commitment to his vision, and pass on his ideals to future generations with honesty and purpose. He also called upon the youth to play an active role in building a peaceful and inclusive Pakistan by following Quaid-e-Azam’s values.

In his separate message, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said the entire nation pays heartfelt tribute to the Father of the Nation on his 149th birth anniversary.

He termed the occasion a day of renewed commitment, stressing the need to implement Quaid-e-Azam’s guiding principles at both individual and national levels.

The Prime Minister said Quaid-e-Azam taught harmony and justice without discrimination of religion, race, or color, adding that faith, unity, and discipline are the guarantees of a bright national future.

He described Quaid-e-Azam as a guiding light for coming generations, whose political wisdom made the creation of Pakistan possible.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Quaid-e-Azam changed the course of history by turning the dream of Muslims into reality through the establishment of a free, sovereign, and welfare state.

He urged the nation to renew its resolve to work together for Pakistan’s dignity, security, and prosperity by following in the footsteps of Quaid-e-Azam.
