President Zardari’s China visit delayed

Decision comes after Asif Ali Zardari got his foot fractured at Dubai airport and was advised rest for four weeks.

ISLAMABAD: The visit of President Asif Ali Zardari to China in the middle of this month has been delayed.

The decision was taken after President Zardari landed in hospital in Dubai after he got his foot fractured at Dubai airport a day earlier. The doctors at the hospital advised to rest for four weeks.

Though a date had not been fixed for the China visit but it was expected to take place in the middle of the current month. After the president landed in Dubai’s hospital the visit has been delayed.

Officials said that the foreign ministries of Pakistan and China were now scheduling the visit again. It is expected that the visit may take place at the end of December.
