Private Airline Starts Weekly Direct Flights Between UAE & Pakistan

ABU DHABI: Pakistan’s private airline Air Sial has announced the launch of direct weekly flights from Abu Dhabi to Islamabad and Lahore.

These flights will allow residents of the United Arab Emirates to travel to Pakistan conveniently and at competitive fares.

According to media reports, Air Sial will operate three weekly flights from Abu Dhabi to Lahore and four weekly flights to Islamabad.

The airline has set the introductory fare at AED 1,000, offering an attractive travel option for passengers. This development highlights the strengthening economic, social, and cultural ties between Pakistan and the UAE.

Abu Dhabi Airports welcomed Air Sial’s inaugural flight at Zayed International Airport. Elena Sorlini, Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports, stated that the introduction of this new route aligns perfectly with the airport’s strategic vision of enhancing travel and trade connections.

She emphasized that the new flights will serve the region’s growing travel needs while further strengthening the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

Fazal Gilani, Chairman of Air Sial, described the launch of direct flights to Abu Dhabi as a significant milestone in the airline’s mission to improve regional connectivity.

He added that the new route will provide the Pakistani community and business travelers with an efficient and reliable travel option, thereby supporting both commercial and cultural exchanges.

According to Gilani, this initiative will further deepen the long-standing and robust relationship between Pakistan and the UAE.
