Proliferation of coronavirus reduce in the country but danger of spread is still there: Dr. Zafar

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on health Dr. Zafar Mirza said in a press conference on Tuesday that the proliferation of coronavirus has been reduced in the country, however, the virus has not paralysed yet.

He said, “we need to fully focus on further reduction of the virus”. The danger of spreading the virus is still there, Zafar added.

Similarly, Dr. Zafar said on the occasions of coming Eid ul Adha and Muharram to stop proliferation of Covid19 is a challenge for us, but government and nation collectively can defeat this challenge.

Zafar Mirza said that with the help of UNICEF, government and other organisations ” we” succeeded in controlling the contagion disease.

However, he said going outside from home everyone must insure wearing of mask, and social distancing. Must keep proper care of hygiene and senior citizens, while avoid to go to densely places, SAPM on health said.

Dr. Mirza said that children and senior citizens not need to go out of homes.

Moreover, he said if the government and public implement their responsibilities on the coming religiouse festivals then it is possible to evade from unsubstantiated situation.
