PSL 10: Lahore Qalandars crowned champions for the third time

LAHORE: Lahore Qalandars clinched their third Pakistan Super League (PSL) title after defeating Quetta Gladiators by six wickets in a thrilling final.

In the match held at Gaddafi Stadium, Quetta Gladiators won the toss and opted to bat first. They posted a competitive total of 201 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs. Hasan Nawaz was the top scorer with a brilliant 76 off 43 balls, while Fernando contributed 29 and Faheem Ashraf smashed a quick 28 off just 8 deliveries.

For Lahore Qalandars, Shaheen Afridi took 3 wickets, while Salman Mirza and Haris Rauf claimed 2 wickets each.

Chasing 202, Lahore Qalandars reached the target on the fifth ball of the final over. Kushal Perera led the run chase with an unbeaten 62, hitting 4 sixes and 5 fours. Mohammad Naeem scored 46, and Abdullah Shafique added 41. Sikandar Raza remained not out on 22 from just 7 balls, including 2 fours and 2 sixes.

For Quetta, Mohammad Amir, Faheem Ashraf, Abrar, and Usman Tariq took one wicket each.

With this victory, Lahore Qalandars have now won the PSL title three times.
