NEW YORK: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in collaboration with the Consulate General of Pakistan hosted the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Roadshow at The Plaza Hotel in New York as part of the League’s growing global outreach and international engagement efforts.
The event brought the excitement and spirit of Pakistan’s premier T20 league to the United States.
The roadshow was attended by Pakistan cricket team members Shan Masood, Saud Shakeel, Saim Ayub, Faheem Ashraf, Abrar Ahmed, and Salman Ali Agha, along with cricket legends Ramiz Raja and Wasim Akram.
The HBL PSL Trophy was also displayed, attracting strong interest from cricket fans, the Pakistani community, sports enthusiasts, and representatives from business and media circles.
The event gave fans an opportunity to meet the players, interact with PSL leadership, and take photographs with the HBL PSL Trophy. It highlighted the PSL’s growth as a globally recognized league known for competitive cricket, emerging talent, and strong fan engagement worldwide.
In addition, the PCB organized an HBL PSL Trophy Tour across New York City, led by Interior Minister and Chairman PCB Mr. Mohsin Naqvi, along with Pakistan cricket players. The Trophy Tour covered iconic city landmarks and concluded at Times Square, where a special fan interaction was held.
The Consulate General of Pakistan in New York facilitated and supported the Roadshow and Trophy Tour as part of its efforts to promote Pakistan’s positive image and advance cultural and sports diplomacy in the United States. The events also provided a platform to engage potential stakeholders and investors, reflecting the PSL’s expanding international reach and commercial appeal.
