PTI Leaders Indicted in Terrorism Links Case

ISLAMABAD: Leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have been formally indicted in a case concerning links with terrorists.

The hearing took place at the Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court, presided over by Judge Tahir Abbas Sapra. The accused, Rauf Hassan and Ahmed Waqas Janjua, pleaded not guilty after charges were formally read against them.

During the proceedings, the accused were represented by Rauf Hassan and Ayesha Khalid advocates, in court. The prosecution’s witnesses have been summoned for the next hearing.

The court has adjourned further proceedings until February 23, 2026, as it prepares to examine the witnesses.
