According to sources, the party has prepared specially equipped trucks for the event. The main truck will carry Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and other party leaders, while additional trucks will feature mobile stages, sound systems and lighting arrangements.
Wherever the trucks stop, a stage will be set up and PTI leaders will address supporters.
Sources said Afridi is expected to deliver his main address on Shahrah-e-Quaidin. However, if permission for the rally is not granted, he may instead tour different parts of the city as part of a procession.
PTI has already announced the rally for September 6 and submitted an application seeking permission. The request was filed by PTI Karachi President Faheem Khan.
