ISLAMABAD: Police in the federal capital early this morning arrested PTI leader Iftikhar Durrani from his residence and shifted him to an undisclosed location.
While no further details were available, the PTI in a statement said its core member was “kidnapped” from Islamabad and that it was “gathering details about his kidnapping”.
PTI members and leaders have been facing arrests, re-arrests since the May 9 mayhem when party workers attacked military and public installations over the arrest of party chief Khan.
The authorities have registered several cases against the top leadership for their alleged involvement and incitement against the military leadership
