Railway track damaged in terror attack repaired

Operation of trains from Quetta to different parts of country expected to resume on March 19, say officials.

QUETTA: The repair work on the railway track in Mashkaf area of Kachhi district of Balochistan has been completed after the March 11th terrorist attack on it.

According to railway officials, after the repair work, the railway track has been made cleat for operation.

They said that after the repair of the track, the train service from Quetta to other parts of the country will be restored on March 19.

It may be noted that the train service has been suspended after the attack on Jaffar Express in Mashkaf on March 11.

The Jaffar Express from Quetta to Peshawar was taken hostage by BLA terrorists near a tunnel in Bolan area and scores of passengers were killed.

Terrorists have also carried out attacks in other parts of Balochistan as well as Khyber Pakthunkhwa within the last over a week.
