NEW YORK: After Israeli air strikes killed hundreds of innocent Palestinians, including children, rallies were taken out in different parts of the world calling upon the Zionist forces not to target civilian population abd cease the blockade of Gaza.
In this regard, a big rally was held in the New York city in which people from different walks of life participated.
There was another rally in the same city in support of Israel and against the Hamas attack that left the Israeli forces paralyzed early on Saturday.
The police in New York kept the two rallies at a distance of each other as they were taken out simaltaneosly.
The participants of the rallies were carrying placards and banners and chanting slogans calling for peace.
Moreover, protest rallies were also held in Madrid Spain and Athens in Greece. The participants expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine and condemned Israeli air strikes and the siege of Gaza.
They also expressed shock over the death of over 140 children in the Israeli air strikes and called upon the international community to take notice and stop the Israeli attacks in civilians.
Another rally of a large number of people was held in Sydney Australia in which the participants expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine.
A rally was also held outside the Israeli embassy in the Belgian capital of Brusseles in support of the Zionist state and against the Hamas attack on Israel.
In all the pro-Palestinian rallies, the participants demanded that the UN should implement its resolutions to ensure an independent state for the people of Palestinian for durable peace in the Middle East.
