ISLAMABAD: To commemorate World Bicycle Day, a rally was organized by the embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad.
A large number of people including Ambassadors, women and children participated in the event. The participants of the rally pedaled their cycles from D-Chowk to Serena Hotel.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atadjan Movlamov said that the aim of this exercise was to disseminate awareness among the masses about the benefits of cycling. He said the United Nations declared 3rd June as World Bicycle Day by the efforts of his country.
