MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has directed authorities to activate the Health Card facility across the region.
Chairing a meeting in Muzaffarabad, he said the Health Card scheme would enable citizens to access quality medical treatment without financial burden, particularly benefiting poor and middle-income families.
He added that the initiative would play a vital role in strengthening the overall healthcare system of Azad Kashmir.
Rathore stated that the program aims to ensure the provision of affordable, quality, and dignified healthcare services for all segments of society.
He instructed relevant departments to complete all administrative and technical formalities without delay and warned that there should be no postponement in the launch of health card services.
He said public relief projects remain the government’s top priority, as they directly benefit the common people.
It is noteworthy that the Health Card facility has already delivered positive results in other parts of Pakistan, significantly reducing medical expenses and improving access to healthcare services.
