According to police, ADC Headquarters Maliha Sahar accused her husband, Javed Ali, of subjecting her to physical violence.
A case was registered against Javed Ali at the Women Police Station on the complaint of Maliha Sahar.
Police presented the accused before a court, which ordered that he be sent to jail on judicial remand.
Javed Ali was remanded to judicial custody for 14 days as the legal proceedings in the case continue.
