QUETTA: Chief Minister of Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti on Sunday stated that terrorists will not be allowed to take even an inch of Pakistani land.
He said they are ready to fight terrorism for a thousand years and will never surrender to militants.
Speaking to journalists in Quetta a day after terrorists carried out attacks in Quetta and other areas of Balochistan, Bugti said the attacks claimed the lives of 31 innocent civilians. He said in an incident in Gwadar, five women and three children from Khuzdar were also killed. He said that although the attackers claim to be Baloch, they are not representing the Baloch people but are terrorists.
Bugti stated that Afghan territory is being used against Pakistan, with reports suggesting that some attackers are Afghans. He mentioned names including Basheer Zeb, Rehman Gul, and Allah Nazar as being present in Afghanistan.
He added that intelligence reports about the attacks were available, and operations had started a day earlier, resulting in 145 terrorists being killed. Bugti accused India of instigating these attacks to destabilize Pakistan.
He stressed, “We are not ready to surrender even for a second. We will fight them for a thousand years. Our blood is not cheap, and we will make Balochistan a hell for them.”
Regarding negotiations, Bugti questioned why the militants are using the Baloch population as fuel under India’s direction. He stated that BLA is not a registered political party and cannot impose its ideology through force.
